Why Clipper?
A rounded shape without sharp edges, butane refilling through a valve on the bottom, and the iconic pull-out mechanism with a replaceable flint, so you don't have to throw away the whole lighter. This repeated refillability has made it the most widely used reusable lighter in the world.
How to refill a Clipper lighter
Let the lighter cool down, turn it upside down, and refill it with butane in short bursts through the filling valve. After refilling, wait about a minute for the gas to settle before lighting.
How to replace the flint
Pull the metal mechanism out of the lighter body. Inside is a white plastic holder with a flint and a spring – replace the old flint with a new one, put the holder back, and snap the mechanism back into the body.
